Faith. Family. Foster Care.
Foster CARE exists as an extension of the Body, continuing the good works as the hands and feet of Jesus. CARE is an acronym and a mission statement. We exist to engage communities in solving generational deficits and to equip those who fight the good fight for the sake of families and children. We understand that only when we work together for the many can we hope to see real change.
We strive to honor Proverbs 31:8-9 “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak and judge fairly defend the rights of the poor and needy”.
This choice is not without its trials, heartbreaks, and simple hard days. .We hope. We pray. We love because HE taught us how.
Our goal is to reflect Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners

We are a Christ-centered, community focused ministry dedicated to helping youth and families in the foster care system. With the help of our tireless volunteers, we tend to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of families. It is with great expectation that we watch for God to do amazing things in healing hearts and restoring homes.
Are you passionate about children and families? Let us know! We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. Considering fostering? We'd love to help you in that journey too!
Adam and Kristy Nofsinger began fostering in 2009 when they received a call in the middle of the night to take in 3 children belonging to a family they had befriended. Fostering had never been in the plan. They suddenly went from 4 healthy children to 7 children one of which had cerebral palsy. From that day, they have continued to open their home to families and children in need of love and healing. Kristy is currently finishing her psychology degree with concentrations in trauma during child development and a specialty in forensics so that she can continue to serve children and families with wisdom and through the Spirit. She plans to continue on with her Master's in Professional Counseling if the Lord wills! She has served on the missions committee, has been VBS director, homeschools, and speaks whenever possible to advocate for foster care. Adam received his degree in electronics engineering from OSU and works for Phillips 66 in the Research department. The Lord has grown him tremendously through his work there and he actually looks forward to going to work every single day! He currently serves as a leader in Celebrate Recovery and is dedicated to helping others overcome hurts and addictions. Right now the family currently has 7 children, 4 biological children 1 adopted blessing, and 2 bonus babies.
We love engaging with those who want to change the world-one family at a time!
